「好奇心」促使人類文明、科技進步發展,是珍貴的學習原動力。

人們幼時運用全身感官探索,逐漸建構出對世界的認知。

為鼓勵學齡前期孩子探索知識,我們導入 Mc Graw Hill 出版之數理教綱,MyMath 及 InspireScience,以探究式學習幫助學生發展早期數學及科學概念。

此外,規劃PBL專案式教學,運用所學嘗試研發、創新,以實踐「做中學」的目標。

MyMath

MyMath 引導孩子在生活中運用數學,讓數學變得真實而有意義。
種下數學概念,使基礎更扎實,融會貫通之後,才能全面理解與活用知識。


InspireScience

透過觀察自然現象,運用不同原理操作實驗,提出問題討論,使學習經驗內化。
幫助兒童發展專注力、記憶力、觀察事物和思考問題的能力。


幼年時期發展數理概念,能夠訓練孩子抽象思維能力,發現問題並嘗試著手解決,是學生持續進步的關鍵。

在探究、求知的過程中,我們期許學生有意識的辨識資訊,養成判斷力,進而能夠運用知識發揮創造力

We learn, grow and improve because of curiosity.

The strong desire to know and understand something has made the world as we experience it today.

Children are born curious although it is a habit they also need to continually develop and have encouraged. Curiosity sparks inspiration and this inspiration fuels investigation and innovation. 

To complement our Project-Based Learning approach that furthers the goal of learning-by-doing, our BigByte Junior students begin to think critically about the world around them from an early age.

After mornings full of Language Arts activities, in the afternoons students work in small groups doing inquiry-based explorations of early math and science concepts.

By introducing natural science phenomena and developing conceptual awareness of mathematical ideas, our afternoon curriculum InspireScience and MyMath, programs both from McGrawHill, give our students a strong foundational base of knowledge for the performance expectations of later years.
